Changes to Commodity Code numbers
With effect from 01/01/2012 the commodity codes used for the import and export of certain agricultural products changed.
You must use these new codes when you apply for import and export licences and advance fixing certificates. You must also declare these new codes on import and export declarations.
Full details of the changes and new code numbers can be found in our Notice to Traders 55/11.

Expert Groups are forums where stakeholders and customer members can have an input into RPA's operations and, in particular, raise legitimate queries and concerns relating to RPA schemes or schemes which cut across the responsibilities of DEFRA and HMRC for open discussion.
Expert Groups are made up of independent, willing and representative members encompassing the different requirements and interests of stakeholders and customers.
Although they have no statutory powers, the remit of the Experts Groups is to discuss queries or concerns, capture feedback and keep stakeholder and customer members up to date on new initiatives or changing business requirements that could impact on the overall development of policy and its administration.
