2007 Guidance for Inspectors
The Cross Compliance Verifiable Standards for England applicable to the 2007 scheme year are contained in the table below. The table also contains the aide-memoire its inspectors used and a copy of the 2007 severity calculator that is used in conjunction with the verifiable standards for determining the severity of breaches of SMRs 7 and 8 (cattle identification).
These documents provide guidance on the assessment of breaches in terms of intent, extent, severity, permanence and repetition and should be used in conjunction with the payment reduction matrices.
Actual breaches may have been assessed differently to reflect the circumstances of each individual case.
