27/07/2009 ~ Cross Compliance update to Statutory Management Requirement (SMR) 7 – Cattle Identification and Registration.
RPA has updated its cross compliance literature in light of changes to the Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathies Regulations. Paragraph 9 of the SMR 7 guidance in The Guide to Cross Compliance in England has been amended accordingly.
The e-version of The Guide to Cross Compliance in England contains the most up to date information inclusive of this amendment to SMR 7. This document can be accessed by following the cross compliance link on the RPA website www.rpa.gov.uk.
RPA will send a hard copy of this SMR 7 guidance to all farmers in England later this year along with other pages that will reflect the changes to a number of cross compliance standards and requirements in 2010.
