Third Countries Information & Promotions
EU part funding is available to trade organisations for promotional measures that are aimed at increasing the information on, and sales of, certain agricultural products of EU origin in the following eligible non-EU countries and geographical areas:

Eligible products include:
Fresh, chilled and frozen beef, veal and pigmeat: food preparations based on these products;
Quality poultrymeat;
Milk products;
Olive oil and table olives;
Wines with a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) or a Protected Geographical Indication (PGI), wines with an indication of the wine grape variety;
Spirit drinks with a Protected Geographical Indication (PGI);
Fresh and processed fruit and vegetables;
Products processed from cereals and rice;
Fibre flax;
Live plants and ornamental horticultural products;
Protected Designation(s) of Origin (PDO), Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) or Traditional Speciality(ies) Guaranteed (TSG) in accordance with Council Regulations (EC) Nos 509/2006 or 510/2006; and
Organic farming products in accordance with Council Regulation (EC) No 2092/1991.
Applications for funding are submitted to the Commission twice a year by RPA.
Applications should be for programmes on at least a national scale. During the selection process preference is given to applications which involve more than one member state and that are run by a European level organisation or an organisation spanning more than one member state.
Programmes must have a minimum duration of one year and a maximum of three years. However Information and Promotion campaigns for Poultrymeat should be for one or two years.
The Community's financial contribution may be up to 50% of the cost of the programme.
A performance security will be required.
The deadlines for receipt of applications at RPA are 15 April and 30 September each year.
