Cross Compliance update to Statutory Management Requirement (SMR) 10 – Restrictions on the use of substances having hormonal or thyrostatic action and beta-agonist in farm animals.
RPA has updated its cross compliance literature in light of changes to the Animals and Animal Products (Examination for Residues and Maximum Residue Limits) Regulations. Paragraph A2 of the SMR 10 guidance in The Guide to Cross Compliance in England has been amended accordingly.
The e-version of The Guide to Cross Compliance in England contains the most up to date information inclusive of this amendment to SMR 10. This document can be accessed by following the cross compliance link, Farmer Guidance > Guide to Cross Compliance in England on RPA’s website www.rpa.gov.uk.
RPA will send a hard copy of this SMR 10 guidance to all farmers in England later this year along with other pages that will reflect the changes to a number of cross compliance standards and requirements in 2010. In the meantime, hard copies are available from our Customer Service Centre on 0845 603 7777.
