2006 Entitlements Statements FAQ
1. Q) How can I check whether my statement is correct?
A) Section G of the Entitlements Statement Guidance booklet sent out with your
statement provides information on how to calculate your entitlement. An electronic
calculator is available on the RPA website : www.rpa.gov.uk. However there are some circumstances in which your statement may not be entirely correct; if these are relevant to you, they are explained in the covering letter.
2. Q) I have been told that my Entitlements Statement was enclosed but I have only
received a letter.
A) If you would like a copy of your Entitlement Statement, please contact the CSC with
your name and SBI.
3. Q) Why does my Entitlements Statement not show my Common land?
A) Once the common land entitlement has been allocated it will not be
shown separately, it will be counted alongside the land parcels for the relevant region.
4. Q) I think the figures on my Entitlements Statement are incorrect and wish to appeal.
A) You should write to RPA with a detailed explanation as to why you believe your
Entitlements Statement is incorrect, see below for contact details.
5. Q) When will I receive payment/payments?
A) The RPA target is for 96.14% of the fund to be paid by 30 June 2007. Where full payments are not possible in the early part of the year, partial payments should start in mid February for eligible claims over 1000 Euros. Payments will be made for not less than 50% of the claim value.
6. Q) When will I receive payment for sugar support?
A) Sugar support payments will be made after your SPS payment is made.
7. Q) Why is my Entitlements Statement in Euros?
A) The value is published in Euros as the ceiling on the value of entitlements is
expressed in Euros and we need to avoid any exchange rate distortion to remain
within this figure.
8. Q) I don’t have/can’t find the letter you sent confirming a transfer of entitlements, can you tell me what was transferred?
A) You should contact the Customer Service Centre on 0845 603 7777, they will then issue a new letter.
9. Q) I cannot find my 2005 Entitlements Statement to compare with 2006 to see if there is a difference in National Reserve, what can I do?
A).You should contact the Customer Service Centre and request a duplicate copy of your 2005 Entitlements Statement.
10. Q) I’ve not received a definitive 2005 Entitlements Statement.
A) You should contact the Customer Service Centre, making sure that you have your SBI number to hand. They will then send you a duplicate of your original 2005 Entitlements Statement.
11. Q) I have successfully appealed against the outcome of my National Reserve
application but the result is not reflected in my 2006 Entitlements Statement. What
should I do?
A) You need do nothing. We are currently working towards making amendments to
calculations where awards have been revised. Once your Entitlement has been
recalculated on our system we shall write to inform you of the resulting changes.
12. Q) I did not claim sufficient land in 2005 to use all of my “Eng Res” Entitlements and
some of them appear to have been removed. You say that the rules on
confiscation of unused Eng Res Entitlements have changed; how can I find out

14. Q) I haven’t been paid my final payment for 2005 yet and I’ve now received an incorrect 2006 Entitlements Statement. When will I get paid?
