2005 Reference Amount Calculator
The Reference Amount Calculator enables farmers to calculate their 2005 historic reference amounts for the Single Payment Scheme (SPS).
To use the calculator a farmer will need to have to hand:
- Their most recent Information Statement (SP1 or SP1a);
- Their seeds letter (if applicable);
- Their net milk quota held at the end of the 2004/05 quota year (if applicable); and
- Their Slaughter Premium (OTM) 2000 letter (if applicable).
Farmer’s historic reference amount figures are used in the calculation of their SPS entitlements.
These figures are for farmers information and guidance only and do not need submitting to RPA. The calculator reflects RPA’s interpretation of the current SPS legislation, last updated in February 2006. RPA reserves the right to review its position if circumstances change, such as the European Commission issuing new guidance.
Please note that for 2006 a) there will be an increase to the dairy reference amount and b) additional sugar support measures will be incorporated into the single payment scheme. In future years it is possible that other supports / schemes may be brought into the SPS scheme. The changes to reference amounts that these changes to the scheme will bring about are not addressed by this version of reference amount calculator.
