Single Payment Scheme 2010

We have now sent the Single Payment Scheme form and handbook to all farmers in England who hold SPS entitlements. Farmers who have not received a form should call our Customer Service Centre on 0845 603 7777 to let us know.

We have updated the SPS 2010 form and the supporting handbook. Farmers will need to read the key changes section at the front of the handbook. Some key changes for this year include:

• Your contact details have been added to the front of the form.
• New column C4 ‘maximum area eligible for SPS’
• End of Hill Farm Allowance.
• Minimum claim size of one hectare.
• Entitlements usage rules.
• Opportunity to apply using SPS Online

The deadline for submitting SPS 2010 applications or making amendments to an application was 11 June 2010.

We will reject any applications received after this date.
