24/04/09 ~ Cross Compliance Inspection Statistics
The 2008 Cross Compliance Inspection Statistics have been published.
Earlier in the year we published updated reduction matrices and a list of the most common cross compliance breaches along with some useful check lists to help claimants prepare for inspections. The standard reduction for a first time negligent breach of cross compliance standards is now 3% for SPS 2009 (including direct payments for Area Payments for Nuts, Protein Crop Premium and Aid for Energy Crops) and for Pillar 2 schemes such as Environmental Stewardship schemes.
