Access to Information - Information Asset Register
The Information Asset Register (IAR) is a catalogue of Government information that concentrates on resources that have not yet been published or will not be formally published. The types of information included in the IAR will typically consist of databases, statistical surveys, reports, research material etc. not previously accessible to the public.
Access to the IAR is via Inforoute, the gateway to information held by all UK Government departments. Inforoute provides direct access to the Government's Information Asset Register, which is an amalgamation of the IARs being created by each Government department, agencies and other bodies.
