Information on setting up as a supplier of Official Ear Tags for Cattle
The ETAS Support Team deal with the administration process for companies wishing to set up as suppliers of Official Ear Tags for Cattle.
Ear tags receive official approval after following a procedure of tests including initial testing by a Defra vet followed by welfare tests in the field and then laboratory testing to “PAS 44” standards. The following documents may be useful as background information to the process:-
