FIRST COME FIRST SERVED IMPORT QUOTA

With effect from 1 January 2004 there is a change in the Sheepmeat Import Quota.

Imports of sheep, goats, sheepmeat and goatmeat from Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Iceland, Slovania and the Country Groups 2, 3, 4 and 5 will be managed on a "First Come First Served" basis from 1 January 2004. There will be "No import licence requirement" for imports from these countries.
