Hops Income Aid and Special Temporary Measures

Hops

The Hops Income Aid scheme was among several crop and livestock payments replaced by the Single Payment Scheme on 1 January 2005.

The Hops Income Aid scheme (including Special Temporary Measures)

closed after the 2004 scheme year, due to the hops regime being fully

decoupled and integrated into the Single Payment Scheme.

Hop growers who received payment under the scheme via their Producer

Group during the 2000-02 SPS reference period have been notified of

the eligible areas which will count towards their historic

entitlements.

For further details about the Single Payment Scheme, and how it

affects hop growers, please click the Single Payment Scheme link at the top of the page.
